On Saturday 12 September, from 10am – 4:30pm, our business centre in Leatherhead, Fetcham Park, will once again welcome visitors as part of Heritage Open Days 2026, opening the doors to one of Surrey’s impressive historic houses.
As England’s largest festival of history and culture, Heritage Open Days offers free access to fascinating buildings and places that are not always open to the public. For clients, colleagues and visitors to Westmead House, it’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a day out just across the Surrey border and discover one of the county’s hidden architectural treasures.
Situated in the heart of Mole Valley, near Leatherhead, Fetcham Park is a magnificent Queen Anne country house with a history spanning more than 300 years. Designed by the celebrated architect William Talman and completed in 1705, the house has stood the test of time, showcasing outstanding craftsmanship, elegant architecture and centuries of remarkable stories.
Today, Fetcham Park is part of the same family of business centres as Westmead House, offering flexible office space, meeting rooms and event spaces, while carefully preserving the historic features that make it such a unique place to work and visit.

Heritage Open Days provides a rare opportunity to step inside this remarkable building and admire its beautifully preserved interiors.
Visitors can explore the elegant reception rooms, marvel at the spectacular cantilevered staircase and discover the original murals by renowned artist Louis Laguerre, whose work can also be found at Blenheim Palace and Chatsworth House.
Every room offers another glimpse into the history of this exceptional house and the people who have shaped its story over the centuries.

Outside, visitors are welcome to wander through the tranquil private gardens, complete with sweeping lawns and ornamental fountains. Originally landscaped by the renowned gardener George London, the grounds provide the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing picnic.

A free exhibition inside the house will showcase the history of the estate, the notable people connected with it and the previous owners who helped shape the building we see today.
